New York City Educators Registration Registration for graduate credit is open. Advanced Data Analysis for Student Achievement. This course will provide New York City educators with powerful tools for school improvement. Participants will study (1) the standards for high school accountability under No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and (2) their own school's NYS Report Card. These documents will serve as the foundation for course participants to formulate evidence-based plans for school improvement. Participants will also learn how to form school improvement teams and to conduct group and item analyses using test data. These skills will help participants improve assessment designs and build differentiated lesson plans, both of which are integral to the improvement of student performance. In summary, the course is designed to train educators in processes of data-driven decision making. [top]
